OnStar, the GM-based in-vehicle safety feature, is continuing its support of the NHTSA Click It or Ticket Campaign by encouraging subscribers to use their seatbelt:
OnStar announced its support of the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) annual Click It or Ticket campaign, May 24 through June 6, to enforce safety belt use laws. In support of this effort, OnStar advisors will remind subscribers to buckle their seat belts in order to save lives and prevent injuries.
"Safety is our overarching commitment to the more than 5.5 million subscribers that we serve, and seat belts are the most important safety system in the vehicle," said Scott Kubicki, vice president of subscriber services, OnStar. "Increasing the national belt use rate through The Click it or Ticket campaign can save lives. OnStar applauds the efforts of law enforcement officers and safety officials and we are proud to support NHTSA.”
OnStar is available on 30 2010 GM Models, including many Chevrolet vehicles. Find out more about OnStar and its many benefits at Tyrrell-Doyle Chevrolet.
